Crochet vlog episode 13 - show notes

I decided to make my vlog show notes to my blog, so that I can add some pics here too. I have been little bit lazy to write blog posts of the finished objects. Mainly the reason is that I have not wanted to sit in front of the computer...

In this episode I am talking about my latest FO´s that are mainly crochet winter decorations. I got this decoration inspiration in October when I was crocheting  pumpkins, you can find more about those from my last episode (click here).

Our daughter has her birthday in November. I got terrible urge to make a new table runner for the birthday party.  Luckily I remembered this beautiful Star Posy Table Runner from Emma (@lululoves_uk)  The yarn is Drops Muskat and the hook size is 4 mm.  The length of the table runner is 115 cm and width 25 cm. The table runner came out just perfect. It fits nicely with my crochet pillow cases.  

After this I started to make The Snowman. Winter scenery is nothing without a snowman.

The pattern for this legendary movie character can be found from The Simply Crochet Magazine digital edition, issue number 77. The designer is Ilaria Caliri @airali_gray

Ooh, how I looove this Snowman!

The yarn is Novita Nalle and hook is 3,5 mm. The Snowman is 30 cm tall. 

Winter scenery needs some trees!

These two trees are made with long chains. Inspiration from Seams of Live -blog. 

I have two yarns together here, white one and the green one. Works very well together!

The yarns are Novita -yarns. The smaller tree is 22 cm and the taller is 28 cm.

Really fun pattern! The pattern uses chunky yarn, my yarn is Aran weight yarn (Novita 7 brothers) and therefore the result is much smaller tree. But I like this a lot too!

The height of this tree is 13 cm. 

Pom-pom tree! I just love this pom-pom tree!

So many pom-poms.... I have not counted them... too many pom-poms!

The height of this tree is 40 cm. I used Novita yarns. I had to white yarns together (other off-white and other white) and I have two pom-pom sizes here. 

I really enjoy this scenery! I´m planning to add some Christmas decorations here too. Perhaps Santa Claus or an elf or an angel. And Christmas star.

I have one wip that I have started in the end of October. I am making mittens. The pattern is Briochet Mitts by Deanne Ramsey (@addydae_designs).  Hoping to finish these during next week.

In November we have here in Tampere one of the biggest craft fairs in Europe. 

The Finnish Craft and Design -fair, check out their website here. This year I spent there all three days! There is so much to see, over 700 exhibitors and over 50 000 visitors. Please check out my short video of the fairs, click here. 

My plans for the next few weeks are to finish those mittens, make some Christmas (also tree) decorations! And in the beginning of January I will take part to Attic 24 CAL, the Dahlia blanket cal. You can read more about that from here.
